I used to hear radio commercials for dealerships (namely Hyundai and Kia) who offered a minimum trade-in value for used cars (usually $3,000). I don’t listen to the radio any more, and I can’t remember who offered this. I need a dealership in the Dallas/Ft Worth area who will guarantee a $3,000 minimum trade-in on an old car.

I’d like to purchase one, not for investment, but for use. I can wait a year of 2 if they may go down, but if the current slump is only temporary, I might as well buy.

The days of cloning a AAR Cuda, Z/28, or Judge and getting $100k are over. I know the rareest cars are holding value, but what about more of a daily driver? I’ve seen 69 Chargers with number matching 440’s and a few options for $25k. I’ve seen non-matching big block cars for $20k or less.

Owe= $5000

New car price = $30000
Price with Negative Equity = $35000

Does that $15000 = a down payment ? so your total finance is $20000 ??

I mean Kia does offer the best warranties on their vehicles for really good price. Therefore i don’t understand why people kept telling me to stay away from Kia if i am thinking of purchasing a new vehicle from them?
