muscle car?

I’m planning on getting a fixer upper this year to work on over the summer with my grandfather. He has his own garage out in LI. I’m looking for a fun easy car to rebuild, preferably an old muscle car. Also, it has to be relativley cheap and easy to find parts. Btw, I’m 13 so nothing extremely expensive and difficult to work with.

I’ve been looking at a 65′ stang, or a camaro.
What do you think?

getting a first gen camaro is gonna be tough without breaking the bank. go with the mustang. They’re great cars, and its rediculously easy to get parts for them.
I would go with the stang finding a 65 camaro will be tough and will break the bank when and if you do. also finding parts for stang will alot easier than the camaro
The Mustang, not only will they be easier to find but alot more fun to drive and their great cars.
Both are cheap and goos cars to work on.
But the Camaro is impossible to find. All of them have been restored.
There are still a few Mustangs that were not restored, but they are hard to find too.
